Amazing show! Foster the People, The Kooks and Kimbra in Central Park. Foster brought out their high school band for a song. Great music and energy! Merry Christmas Matt :)
Ocean isle, how I’ve missed the beach.
Matt and I took a night off and watched SNL this past weekend and what a treat it was. Literally one of the best episodes I have seen this year - Mick Jager was hosting and was a great actor (if not hilarious American impersonator), Kenan did a segment on Reverend Al Jackson and Lazy Sunday debuted a surprise sequel! If you know me, you know that the original Lazy Sunday short is in my hall of fame, I can’t get enough Andy Samburg (rumor is he may be leaving SNL soon, which is quite upsetting). The episode was also Kristen Wiig’s last show, which is quite sad, but hoping to see her in some more films soon.
So, for your viewing pleasure, please find Lazy Sunday Part 2. “DUBSTEP… flip up binocs’ cuz we’re cultural mavens.” Indeed.
Beautiful flowers at Dean and Deluca in SoHo.

This is great - little boy gives epic speech after his first bike ride. If you keep practicing you can do anything! Rock on.
May-day “general strike” is happening today. Impressed by the creative that went into this… Someone must clearly be employed and very skilled at their job to create this poster that has shown up all over dt Manhattan. Where did the money to fund this come from? Hmm. Not sure what is expected to be accomplished today, but should make for an interesting work day in Financial District.
Miike Snow put on an awesome show at Terminal 5 last week. Great lighting and song selection, although I didn’t hear “Song for No One,” only slightly upsetting. Still one of my fave venues in NYC. Next up - Foster the People and The Kooks in Central Park!
